As a photographer, I’m naturally drawn to capturing what I know, what I love, and what has shaped me. That journey led me organically to not only document pieces of my Mexican culture, but to honor Latino leaders here in the Quad Cities—individuals who have given 20+ years of their lives in service, leadership, and quiet dedication to our community.

The original vision was to feature five people in 2025. Life, schedules, and a little camera shyness had other plans, and the project became three. And honestly—it couldn’t have been more perfect. Three incredible individuals, each representing a different path, a different profession, and a different way of making an impact.

This wasn’t about numbers. It was about stories, legacy, and giving flowers while they’re still here.
